This question comes up every year, especially around Easter, in the group. And who doesn't want an adorable bunny or cute little chicks in their Easter/Spring photos? Like sunsets and sunflowers, it never goes out of style. But there are problems with offering live animals in photo shoots.

1. Rabbits have sharp claws and can bite. Most bunnies don't like being held and may scratch or bite if they are restrained.
2. You could be sued! Your little clients could be bitten or scratched and you could be subjecting yourself to legal action.
3. Rabbits, chickens, and ducks are fairly fragile animals. They can be easily hurt or killed through injury or stress. The safety and welfare of the animals, and your clients, should always be paramount.
